I am crying, finally, but not because I think that I have lost, not because I feel that the strategies of the Security of the State to make me feel alone are working, not because there is a huge gap between what I can offer – an idea that I think must be defended – and what the government of Cuba offers – business opportunities and the chance to progress in a professional career – to those who have to choose. That’s not why; I am crying when I see other people’s fear.
