flying machine
from the series Daedalus or the Empire of Salvation

This series consists, in part, of a group of objects that suggest flying machines -- a means of escape both literal and metaphorical. Each object may be worn, requiring a gesture or action from the wearer that also "activates" it. In this case, the action is the turning of the bicycle pedals (which also duplicates a power salute).
